Lynnelle Bryant CID, CAPS is president of Masbuild AEC, an architecture design and construction firm based in Pasadena, California. Ms. Bryant is a Certified Interior Designer (CID), a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) and Renovation Repair and Paint certified. Ms. Bryant has over 30 years of experience in the design arena, including project management for commercial, residential, and institutional projects, overseeing interior design and space planning. She brings particular expertise to corporate clients in managing and implementing their design standard packages, including such brands as: Farmers Insurance Group, Hilton Hotels, Embassy Suites, and Marriott Hotels.
Ms. Bryant is skilled in all phases of design and production, including construction administration. Her involvement in projects includes the management and coordination of the combined efforts of the design and CAD production teams to ensure quality control. She also has lengthy experience in program management, facilities planning and tenant improvements, managing and providing oversight and monitoring for construction projects and is equally experienced in new design, renovation, modernization (accessibility), and adaptive reuse.
She is generally involved in each project from initial programming stages through building commissioning including selecting and managing subcontractors and vendors. When not working in the field, she oversees daily operations and business development for Masbuild.
Education is a priority for Ms. Bryant and to further this cause, she participated on the California Department of Education Task Force developing core curriculum standards for interior design certificate programs (community college and ROP). She continues to judge interior design competitions for students. She recently served as president of the Board of Directors for the Pasadena Neighborhood Housing Services and was instrumental in handling its dissolution and bankruptcy. She also serves on the Sherwin Williams Paint Advisory Board.
Ms. Bryant earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from Drake University, graduating with honors. While at Drake, she studied overseas at the University of Seville as well as the School of Applied Arts. In 2012, she completed the Turner Construction Management Program. The following year, was selected to attend the U.S. SBA Emerging Leaders Program in Los Angeles (USC), completing the six month program.
She is an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and a member of the California Council on Interior Design Certification (CCIDC), the Southern California Association for Non Profit Housing (SCANPH), and the Pasadena chapter of the NAACP.
